Our next Staff Picker is e-commerce manager Daniel. In charge of Trunk's online shop and social media presence, Daniel is also our photographer and one of our menswear buyers. Originally from Stockholm, Sweden, Daniel is a member of a not-so-secret society called the 'Burger Boys of Stockholm', whose other members include guys from Swedish brands Our Legacy and Denim Demon. As the group's illustrious 'London correspondent', Daniel can usually be found spending his days off in the queue for whatever trendy burger joint happens to have opened this week. Daniel's picks follow what he would describe as an 'All Black Errrything' theme - read on for the reasons behind his dark, monotone selection.
1. Nanamica Day Pack
- Daniel: Strong bag for everyday use. It's the perfect size for a macbook and whatever paperwork you're carrying around that day, plus it can handle the constant showers here in London.
2. Rimowa Salsa 67.5cm
- The fact that this suitcase is made from nearly-indestructible polycarbonate is exciting enough for me.
3. Our Legacy Shawl Zip Shirt
- My favourite piece from their OFFICIAL collection and pretty much what I wear everyday. Super versatile as it can be worn just on its own over a tee, or as a mid layer over a shirt.
4. Alden Moc Toe Blucher
- We put a super lightweight sole on this shoe which makes it by far one of the most comfortable/exciting pairs of Aldens I own.
5. Skultuna Kin Tea Light Holders
- I've used these at home for a while now and they give off a very nice light during these dark evenings.
6. Kaweco AL Sport Ballpoint Pen
- Everyone needs a pen. I prefer this one due to its size as it fits perfectly in the interior pockets of my coats.
